A quick post after many months of absence, apologies. The sketching has carried on in the meantime (I passed my ten year anniversary of daily drawing in March!), but the website had gone into hibernation. Here are some recent Bath sketches to get the ball rolling again; the local bandstand back in action after many many months silence, a cafe view in Kingsmead Square, and people relaxing in Queen Square.

Great pictures, Ed. Congratulations on the 10 year milestone. Seeing those piles of sketchbooks you had created full of jewel-like hand-made drawings was a big inspiration to start drawing myself. And I admire your ‘always from life’ approach and your endless inventiveness with equipment. Q meets James Gurney!
Many thanks for your kind words Jim (the cheque’s in the post). “Oh do be careful with that palette Bond, it’s not a toy…” I look forward to our next sketch/flaneur!
Congrats on your 10th anniversary! Mine is coming up in September!
Thanks Tina. I was trying to estimate the number of individual drawings I’ve done. (365×10) + (unknown extras as often doing more than one in a day) = 5000?
Really good to see you back and active. So you are now keeping well and we will see you out on your local travels soon. Good to see the return of your ‘regular’ emails. Graham {Pembrokeshire]
Thanks Graham, hope all’s well in Pembrokeshire
Hello, it’s lovely to see the finished picture of the bandstand with the 3 kids in it! Thank you for adding them in. Your pictures are great 😁
Your welcome, glad you like it!
