More sketches from Tenby harbour. First the view from the quayside looking down and across beached boats at low tide, then a similar view from last year for comparison (stronger lines, lower angle, more pigeons…). Then a mix; a guided tour, two teenagers texting while stood in the water, people paddling, and one of the boats from the first picture afloat when the tide’s in. And finally some attempts at drawing the befuddling reflections of boats, briefly interrupted by an air/sea rescue helicopter and boat that suddenly appeared!

Fab drawings! I so long for a walk by the English seaside now, want to be *rescued* 🙂 from the Lapland autumn skyfalls… I am particularly envious at how you managed to capture the reflections in the water in the three last ones, that is so hard!
Thanks Viktoria, but I guess you get good views of the Aurora Borealis where you are? The ink brush was perfect for the reflections, able to lay down smooth and flowing lines to match the water! Ed
True, we do, but I have never made an honest attempt at capturing those on paper. Perhaps I should…
Really enjoy these! It’s very inspirational to see your drawings as you sketch daily!
Thanks, these were done on holiday, so more time than usual! Ed
