Deep inside the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, while sat at a table at the Fes cafe. The subject of the sketch, and especially his friends, were amused by the picture.

A roasted corn stall next to Hagia Sophia in Istanbul. This took about an hour to do so I briefly became part of the street scene, sat in the shade of the ‘Fountain of Ahmet 3rd’, dropping out of the flow of visitors.

Every Day Matters #5 ‘Your bed’, drawn using a dip pen with a very thick nib. The dip pen and bottle of ink aren’t very portable but make an interesting change, ensuring a slower and more deliberate approach to every line. It also makes the picture look like a print?
