A roasted corn stall next to Hagia Sophia in Istanbul. This took about an hour to do so I briefly became part of the street scene, sat in the shade of the ‘Fountain of Ahmet 3rd’, dropping out of the flow of visitors.

This brings back memories of many Saturdays in Istanbul.
Thanks for the comment and reblog. I was in Istanbul during Ramadan so ate lots of these during evenings wandering around in the friendly festival atmosphere.
Stunning. I am so envious of your talent. Seriously.
Many thanks for the kind comment. I recommend daily sketching as a way to improve your drawing, and to reflect on everyday life.
lol – I don’t have the talent MD, but I do try to write every day. Horses for courses, right?
Absolutely! It’s the daily bit that’s important… I’m slowly adding more text to my pictures so the sketchbook becomes a journal.
Great idea. You might think about publishing it … when you’re ready. 🙂
