A lovely aspect of the Urban Sketchers community is members’ enthusiasm for freely sharing top-tips and information; about kit, techniques, locations, approaches etc. This spirit of generosity was particularly evident at the symposium I attended, and continued after it ended as most workshop leaders shared their leaflets as PDFs. If, like me, you can’t get to Porto for this year’s symposium, I recommend wandering through the many PDFs that are available on Google Drive from Chicago here, and from Manchester here. There’s a wealth of approaches to freshen up your sketching, and lots to take your mind off not being able to go to Porto (sniffle)…
