Beady

P1220847

“Necklace with beads of glass, rock crystal, silver and amber. Late Viking age. Woman’s costume from Gotland.” The beads came from many countries, evidence of the Vikings’ extensive trading network. Sketched at the very lovely Stockholm National Historical Museum (could do with some shadows).

Fountain pen with carbon ink, watercolour, A6
