Met up with Jim to sketch in town. It was damp and foggy outside so we visited the Abbey, where helpful guides showed us typos on memorial plaques (‘immorality’ instead of ‘immortality’), and tiny skulls hidden in the eyes of a statue. Sat and drew the view down the length of the nave to the altar.
